My first day in Alaska I saw a pregnant moose at only a couple yards and a bald eagle swoop down and grab seagull off the sea. I have taken that as a good omen for the summer. Follow my adventures and research as an intern at NOAA’s Kasitsna Bay Laboratory.

!!!!! :O !!!!!!!!
OMG. I am so tried and sore I can't function. I was out on the water all day today doing field work. It was stressful, and amazing, and beautiful, and tedious, and magical and hard all at once. It turns out physical oceanography is pretty darn cool. Kachemak Bay is also a scientifically fascinating place. When I post my photos tomorrow your minds will be blown. BLOWN. I'm going to go into a coma now. Night.
